I accidentally entered "yes" for Qualified business income. I believe that I should have checked "no" but do not really understand what this is.

I accidentally entered "yes" for Qualified business income. I believe that I should have checked "no" but do not really understand what this is.

You are allowed to take the QBI if you have self-employment or some types of rental income. Generally, if you have a Schedule C or E, it's allowed.
