HSA excess contribution error (two HSA accounts)

My husband has a current HSA that covers our Family. I have an HSA from a previous employer. I did not contribute or withdraw from my old HSA in 2023, so on our 2023 tax return I stated that only my husband had an HSA. However, this year, 2024, I did withdraw money from my old HSA. So I am currently reporting that both my husband and I have HSA's and what I withdrew. But now TurboTax is staying that everything my husband contributed to his HSA (I still have not contributed to my old HSA) is excess. Is that because I made the mistake in saying that I did not have an HSA in 2023? Do I need to amend my 2023 tax return so that my 2024 tax return does not mistake the excess contribution?

HSA excess contribution error (two HSA accounts)

Usually, we see these issues when the incorrect coverage has been entered for the spouse with the HSA. Make sure that you've indicated that your husband was eligible for a high deductible health plan with family coverage all year, and that you did not make contributions to your HSA at all in 2024.
