How to withdrawal Federal Income tax as a nonresident aliens worker who worked outside of the US?

Hi there,

I am a H1B visa holder who worked overseas in the last year (2020, due to Covid). IRS says that nonresident alien workers who work abroad do not need to pay Federal income tax. How can claim that through TurboTax?

Nonresident aliens are generally subject to U.S. income tax only on their U.S. source income.  If you worked overseas, and are a non-resident alien, you do not have to report that income or pay tax on it.  As a non-resident alien, you file Form 1040-NR.  TurboTax does not support Form 1040-NR'; however, we have a partnership agreement with Sprintax where you can file a Form 1040-NR:
