How to treat multi-unit owner-occupied rental?

I'm a first-time TT user. We own and live in a three-flat. While renovating, we've rented apartments out through AirBnB. We've moved between units at various times to allow us to work more easily on stuff which needed doing (painting, etc). We know how many days we rented each unit last year. Do we treat each apartment as a separate rental for the purposes of taxes (so, three rentals instead of one)?

Treating each as a separate rental unit would be the easiest/cleanest way to record the income/expenses for each unit. If you go this route, enter 1/3 of the property cost in each Asset section for depreciation.
