If you are using TurboTax Online:

  1. Open your return
  2. From the left column, choose My Info
  3. In the My Info section, you can update information about your dependents, and delete or add dependents. This information is used by the program to calculate the amount of any Child and Other Dependent Tax Credits to which you may be entitled.

See this tax tips article for information about the rules for claiming dependents.

I answered the question wrong if she paid half of her support for year and I can't get the program to reset.  I go to info then continue and it just says she doesn't qualify.  How can I reset the form?

As suggested by MonikaK1, you can go into the My Info section from the left menu in TurboTax Online and update your dependent information.

To get the dependent questions to be blank again, you can delete the dependent then add back, which will clear your previous answers to the questions about support.
