How to remove the X in the box that says someone can claim my spouse as a dependent

You need to go back through the "My Info" section. The question is asked in that section and you will need to edit your answer there.

Sign into your account, your return and click "Pick up where I left off".

Click "My Info" on the left side just above Federal

Click Edit and go through the interview section.

Are you not able to get to the My Info section Did you already file?
