You might be able to install 1996 TurboTax in a Windows 95 virtual machine running under Windows 11.

@salutax even if you can install 1996 no updates or state returns are available. if you open a .tax1996 filewith the app reinstalled the app may change the return from what was filed.

if you are willing to pay you can send the file to Taxprinter and for a fee they will print out a copy of your return.
