How to I fix a rejected W2? My employer id is incorrect online of my w2

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
2. Click on the Search box on the top and type “W-2”
3. Click on “Jump to W-2” and you should see the “Here's your W-2 info” screen
4. Click on "Edit" and enter the correct employer ID

If that doesn't work you will have to delete the imported W-2 (click on the trash icon) and enter it manually.

I would call your employer and ask them for their employer ID. 

If the employer ID is the same as the one on your W2, I would then blank the box out and submit it without. If you downloaded the W2, you may have to delete the W2 and enter it by hand.
