I have tried to delete "Form 1040" from under the tools section, but no luck. It is preventing me from e-filing. Any suggestions?

No, you can't delete Form 1040 because that is the only form that is required no matter what your situation is when you are filing your return.
Line 33 is a calculated line totaling all your payments and refundable credits applied to your return. This line is not specifically populated by you. It also cannot specifically be the reason you cannot e-file your return.

Let me clarify better. I have nothing to do with Virgin Islands, but TurboTax is placing that text (Form 8689) on Line 33 of Form 1040 and I can't seem to get rid of it.
Was a credit entered on IRS form 8689 at the screen Do you have any of these less common credits?
