how to associate the imported txf with last year's for same entity?

Hi,

 

I imported EPD txf successfully, but TurboTax created a new entity instead of adding the new info to last year's.  This creates a problem because the carryover information was lost.  How do I merge them or is there a way to let TurboTax know read this into existing k-1 from last year?

I may have found the secret. the download of the import file needs to be renamed in the name of the partnership. the default name is Turbotax.txf which won't work. after download and renaming you should be able to properly import the K-1 into the carryover k-1.
