Whether you get an additional refund when you amend will depend on what you change.  Some amended returns result in refunds and some result in tax owed.

It's possible.  The result will depend on the changes and how it affects your overall return for last year.  An amendment for a refund does have a statue of limitations however the final date for the 2022 tax return amendment is April 15, 2027 (3 years after the due date of the tax return or 2 years after the tax was paid whichever is later).  It's important not to put it off.
