How should I file my residency if I went to grad school until May in NY and then moved to NJ with fiance's parents for the second half of the year.

Originally from MA (where my parents live), but never lived there in 2018. I have a NY state license from when I was going to school in NY.

Based on your description, you were a part-year resident of both NY and NJ.
