There is no specific amount per dependent, since there are no more personal exemptions. You may, however, qualify for EIC and/or the Child Tax Credit. Just enter your information, and work your way through the program.

Claiming dependents does not "give you anything back", they only make different credits work differently.

In the past, dependents also triggered "Exemption Amounts" which was subtracted from your income, meaning your tax liability most likely would also be decreased. Now there is no exemption amount subtracted, but the standard deduction has increased.
