Are you trying to prepare returns for other people? You can only prepare one Form 1040 for yourself. All of your income goes on one tax return. What are you trying to do?
A TurboTax Online account can only be used for one Form 1040 tax return. If you want to file a 1040 for someone else you have to use a separate account. You cannot file another 1040 with the same account that you used for your own 1040.
As xmasbaby0 said, all of your own income has to go on one 1040. You cannot file more than one 1040 for yourself. That's how the tax law works. It is not a TurboTax restriction.
When using TurboTax Online, you can prepare and e-file one federal return and up to five associated state returns under the same account login. Your account login is based on your username, not your email address. Additionally, you can file up to five federal returns using the same email address (but a separate account for each federal return). If you need to file more than that, you’ll have to create a new TurboTax Online account for each unique federal tax return, with separate logins and unique Social Security or Tax ID numbers. Keep in mind that all accounts may be subject to TurboTax fees based on the complexity of each federal return and the number of state returns
if you use desktop up to 5 taxpayers can have their returns e-filed. You can prepare as many as you want but any in excess of the 5 must be mailed.
