How long does it take to get your tax return after it has been accepted?

My Tax return has been accepted but the payment has been pending for a week now.
I'm getting it direct deposited btw.

Accepted only means that the IRS has received your return, but it has not yet been approved. This process can take up to 21 days.

The problem is that it has now been longer than 21 days with no change, no refund in sight, and no explanation as to where it is or why it isn't here except 'the payment is still being processed' when i check "Where's my refund" on the IRS website or 'Payment Pending' when i check it on my Turbo Tax information.
