How long are amended return refunds taking? I filed in June 2021 for the 2020 return and the amendment was processed in August 2022. I'm still waiting for the paper check

It can take a couple of months but longer if the return is being reviewed.

@Anonymous_ the return was “adjusted” in July 2022 and “processed” in August 2022. There is no further step on the IRS tool screen. That’s why I am wondering how long is the delay from all done according to the system to actually seeing the refund. Thanks.
