How to enter 1099S?

If you enter the 1099S it will trigger the upgrade to Premium.

Federal>Wages & Income>Less Common Income>Sale of Home (gain or loss)

In TurboTax Online, enter 'form 1099-s' in the search microscope in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Select 'Jump to form 1099-S'.

The software will prompt you to upgrade from Deluxe to Premium when it becomes necessary.

In addition, in the lower left hand corner of the screen, click the down arrow to the right of Switch Products. The option Upgrade may be available.

You may enter IRS form 1099-S by entering '1099-S' at the search microscope in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. You will be prompted to upgrade to TurboTax Online Premium.

IRS form 1099-S requires TurboTax version Premium.
