How do you start a new3 return after you have completed one?

a new return (not yours) requires creating another a/c that can have the same e-mail address but different user ID.    if you use the same a/c the first return will be overwritten by the second and be unretrievable.  this will cause problems should you need a copy. if use the same a/c to do 2020 the data transfer will be from the second return not the first.

Online is only good for 1 return per account.  But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts.   How to start another return in the Online version
