How do you file 2020 taxes without income

If you don't have any income you probably don't need to file a return.  What do you need to report?

Unfortunately, absolutely nothing. This year my ex-wife claims our two children. I’ve never had zero income and wasn’t sure how to go about it

there is no need to file.....except.....

if you didn't receive both the $1200 first stimulus and don't receive the $600 second stimulus, that is the way to get the money.
