How do you enter line 11 on 1040 form

You can enter alimony received by following these steps:

  1. Open (continue) your return in TurboTax.
(To do this, sign in to TurboTax and select the blue Take me to my return button.)
  2. In the search box located on the right side of the screen, enter alimony received and then select the "Jump to" link in the search results.
  3. Answer Yes to Did you receive alimony or spousal support? and follow the onscreen instructions.

How do you enter line 11 on 1040 form

I am using a home & business Turbo software and I selected less common income. I answered yes on the question "Did you receive  Alimony?" and went to another screen to fill up the amount received ($12,000for 2019) and date of agreement which is 6/3/2019. No check on agreement modified. When I was reviewing the form 1040 other income  and schedule 1 is blank (0). The only amount showing is my wages. Does this mean the alimony that I received in not taxable that is why is not picking up the information on schedule 1?
