How do I upload or enter information from my prior year (2017) taxes so that it factors into my current year (2018) return on Turbo Tax? My prior year taxes were done by an accountant, not on Turbo Tax, but I have the paper documents.

Good luck.  You need to have the actual electronic pdf file not a printed or scanned copy.  And then it only transfers you basic personal info.  See the last section here.  Or you will just have to manually enter any 2017 it needs as you go along.
