How do I transfer 2025 information entered online (but not yet filed) into the desktop app?

TurboTax says it should be possible via the "Tools" menu, but it's not showing up for me.

Thank you for posting the forum link.  I have tried that, but when I sign in and select the "Continue From TurboTax Online" option, it only tries to pull in the 2024 return, which I don't have.    Is there any way to get 2025 to import?  Based on what I've read, this should be possible, but I haven't gotten it to work, and the TurboTax "expert" who I talked with on the phone did not know or find it either.  Thanks again!

Click on Tools

Click on Save your 2025 return to your computer

Hi, I have seen those instructions as well.  There is no "Save your 2025 return to your computer" option.  I have taken my return online all the way up to the pay for filing page, and it didn't change.  Anything else I can do to get that option to appear?  Thank you!

@kaw You do not see the option to save the 2025 return to your computer in Tools Center?  Are you using the US or the Canadian TurboTax online editions?

Indeed, the 2025 option is not there.   (Transferring last year's return (2024), which is there, is not what I'm looking for.).  I'm using the US online version.

Thank you!  I tried that once on my own, and once with the turbotax expert on the phone+screen sharing, and it didn't work.  I'm not sure what changed, but it finally worked and very happy!
