How do I take off the fees for filing my tax return?

Tax preparation fees on the return for the year in which you pay them are a miscellaneous itemized deduction and can no longer be deducted. These fees include the cost of tax preparation software programs and tax publications. They also include any fee you paid for electronic filing of your return.

when I filed my sons taxes

there was not suppose to be fees for his taxes my son is incarcerated right now and he did not get any of the money for the stimulus so why am I being charged upset and confused???? Jerry j Martin I sending this on behalf of my son faith a Martin
