How do I start over with my taxes to file an accurate tax return

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the account, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2021 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

You cannot start over if you e-filed already.   If you already e-filed, then stop right now and wait to see what the IRS does with your return when they begin to accept/reject e-files after January 24.
