How do I simply make an estimated tax payment?

I've been a contract employee since September 2022. How do I make an estimated tax payment for the months of September through December 2022?

Or you can pay on the IRS website. Be sure to pick 2022 1040ES payment

www.irs.gov/payments if you want to pay via direct debit or CC. Make sure you print your receipt when done!

For 2022, you should be using a 2022 ES Form not 2023 if you want your payment assigned to this  current tax year.
