@pinkypie asked: "How do I prove To the IRS that my payment was fully paid and I do have my bank statement to show."
What kind of payment and what tax year?
There must be more to the story. Why are you needing to prove something? Did you get a bill/notice from the IRS for something you already paid? If so, is there a phone number on it to contact that department at the IRS, so you can ask them what form of proof that they want?
Yes, They send me a notice of the outstanding bill when the whole amount was already paid for and I do have the confirmation payment number coming from the IRS payment place, plus the bank statement proof. It was year tax and the notice was dated Dec. 30 but I got it Jan. 8, 2025.
Is there an address to send it to the IRS? Send them a copy of your bank statement. They might have applied your payment to the wrong ssn or account. I would log into your IRS account and see what payments they have listed for you.
