How do I know if my tax refund was sent

 completed both state and federal and I downloaded both to my pc, and it says both are ready to mail, but I thought I had sent both on the 23rd of March. Please help.

You thought that you had sent both on March 23 by mail or by e-file?  Please clarify.

Follow these steps to send your state and Federal tax returns by mail.

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax Online if you haven't already.
2. Select File under Review.
3. You'll see 3 steps. Complete Steps 1 and 2 if you haven’t already, then select Start or Revisit next to Step 3.
4. On the Let’s get ready to e-file screen, select File by mail, then on the next screen make sure you select Change for federal and all of your states.
   • If the File by mail option isn’t available, you probably previously selected to pay your TurboTax fees through your tax refund. In order to file by mail, you’ll need to instead pay with a credit or debit card. Here’s how to change your payment method from pay by refund, to pay by credit or debit card.
   • Once you change your payment method, you'll see the File by mail option as described above. Select this and continue to Step 5.
     (If you're using the Free Edition of TurboTax: You obviously won't have to pay, but you'll be asked to register. Just follow the instructions on the screen after selecting File by mail as above.)
5. Follow the instructions to print your return. If you haven't already paid any outstanding TurboTax fees, you'll be prompted to do so before you can print.

If you just need the mailing address:  See the filing instructions document that prints out with the paper copy of your return. You'll see the address in those instructions. For your Federal return, you can also look it up at this IRS website.

I thought I sent them e file, but I didn't receive a confirmation like I did last year. I did download my taxes to my pc, but where you say go to the File section, I'm unable to do so. When I sign in and go to my taxes, it says that they are printed and ready to mail. but am unable to find where it says to send e-file. Any help is needed.

If you haven't mailed in your taxes yet, you can simply go back in and change to e-file. When the print and mail option is selected, the program thinks you have filed, so to get around this and get back in to make changes, please see the instructions below:

How to get back into make changes online when mailing

1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select 2020, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right menu).
5. Now you can make any necessary changes.
