How do I keep Invest interest expense from showing up double on 4952 and as a nonpassive loss on stmt for Sch E

K-1 with royalty income shows investment interest  expense of $340 on Line 13 code W.  I entered it there and for this actively that I am not actively participaing it shows up double on 4952 and then nets down to only one $340 adding back the $340 as being deducted elsewhere.
