You can request a refund for the Online product you are using and switch to a desktop (CD/Download) version of TurboTax, which supports Schedule C.

There is no such thing as a "Very simple" SCH C. if you have self-employment income to report it on SCH C or SCH C-EZ. SCH C-EZ is included already with the online version of Premier. However, to use SCH C-EZ you must:

 - Not claim any business expenses. Not one penny.

 - Not claim any business assets

 - Have no employees.

 - Have no inventory.

 - Have total business income of less than $5000 for the entire tax year.

If you do not meet all of the above, then you have to report your business income/expenses on SCH C.

Note that the above requirements are not IRS rules. They are TurboTax rules.  The IRS rules state that if you have a profit from your business and:

  • your expenses are not greater than $5,000,
  • you have no employees,
  • you have no inventory, and
  • you are not using depreciation or deducting the cost of your home you can use Schedule C-EZ.

The TurboTax rules for using their program for the C-EZ are a bit more stringent.

OR

There is also The Turbo Tax Free File program which is free for federal and state.  And has more forms than the Federal Free Edition, like Schedules A, B, C , D, E, F, EIC, H, K-1, SE,  etc.

NOTE:  You will have to log out of your regular Turbo Tax Account and setup a new account with a new username and new password or it will take you back to regular Turbo Tax.

To qualify for the Free File website  you just need to meet one of these 3 things

AGI $34,000 or less

Active duty military with AGI of $66,000 or less

OR qualify for EIC (earned income credit.)

In order to use the Free File program, you have to start it at a special website.  Click on the bottom Orange button I Qualify Start Now and set up a NEW account
