How do I get Turbotax to calculate my Detroit City tax refund correctly as non-resident working 30 days in the year?

I only worked 30 days in the city but paid taxes all year. Refund amount is only $2 after inputting work days.

Without seeing your return, it’s impossible to tell why you are getting a $2 Detroit City refund or whether the amount is correct.

Generally, you will start with 260 total work days inside and outside of Detroit (5 days x 52 weeks). If you worked 30 days in Detroit, you would subtract vacation, holidays, and other non-work days to get the Detroit percentage to give you Detroit income.
