TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return. No one at TurboTax knows that your refund was offset or why. Only the IRS can explain it. If your refund was seized for back taxes, child support, etc. the IRS sends you a letter that explains.

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
