How do I get a refund for the online Turbotax? I've always purchased the cd but thought I would try the online this year. Bad idea. I need to do 5 returns.

I want to switch to purchasing the CD/Download but I've already paid for the online version. I'm not paying full price. Where does it say "online only covers one return"? In all the years I've used TurboTax I've never had to pay for the program more than once. It isn't like the online version is less expensive. Is there a way to convert what I've paid to buy the CD/Download so that I can do my children's tax returns?

See the answer I left below. Also have you already finished and filed the online return?   If you need to work on it more, you can download the *.tax2017 data file from your online account if you still need to finish/file it in your desktop software when you get it.   We can tell you how.    

 If you already filed it, then wait until your returns have been accepted.  Then you may wish to download a copy of the *.tax2017 data file and any PDF of your finished return, to save for archival purposes.  Remember that all .tax data files and PDFs are very sensitive and need to be stored safely and securely to guard against computer failure, computer theft, hacking, etc.

First talk to Support and see what they do.

And the Online version is not as fully-featured in other ways as well.  Some of the editions have form limitations, and there is no Forms Mode in the Online product.  A state return is an extra preparation fee online.
