I can't go to my 2025 desktop program on this computer right now to check, but in previous years as I recall, there was a Flags icon in the top right corner near the Forms icon and Notifications icon. It could have changed, however. That was for Windows version; I don't know about Mac version. Someone who has their program open will likely comment.
I am running the Mac version. The Flags box appears to only hold a single flag. If I edit it it replaces the current one. Or I can delete the flag. Sure would be nice to flag all the issues the first time through to be able to fix them all at once.
In the Mac version of TurboTax Desktop, the Flags option is at the very top menu bar where you see TurboTax 2025, File, Edit, etc. On my Mac, Flags appears next to Window.
Yes, you can flag more than one topic. When you've flagged two or more topics, they will show when you open Flags again. You can also select Show All Flags to have the list appear in a separate window.
In the Windows version of TurboTax Desktop, Flags appears between Forms and Notifications on the blue banner near the top of the screen.
Click Edit Flag under Flags to edit or delete the flag.
@MonikaK1 Are flags still available in the Online TurboTax? Thanks!
I am not seeing this option anymore. I just spoke with a TT support rep and she wasn't even aware it was a function previously. 😕
Appreciate your response, LetitiaF1, but your screenshot does not represent what my desktop version of Premiere TT looks like. Sooooo ????
@JTO49 I am using the 2025 TurboTax Premier desktop edition and that screen grab is exactly what is showing on my edition of TurboTax for Windows. A tax return must be opened for those links in the upper right of the desktop program screen to be visible.
Are you use TurboTax for a Mac?
Yes, I’m using a Mac so don’t see that screen.
@JTO49 To view the "Flags" link (or bookmarked pages) in TurboTax on a Mac, open your return and navigate to the Tax Tools menu located in the left-hand panel, then select Tools and click on the Flags button.
