This has to do with tastyworks credentials.
You will have to contact tastywors for your new credentials.
To fix this,
I have the same issue and have tried the following directions and also tried multiple browsers, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. All result in the same issue. It never asks me for my username and password, it only asks for Account Number and SSN/TaxID.
I don't think you understand. The TurboTax Online interface does not provide a place for me(us) to enter our updated credentials. I can not find a way to remove and reconnect because it only asks for the account number and social security number.
The TurboTax website will not ask for your account number or SSN to sign in. Here is the correct TurboTax Log-in Link
Taxpayer Beware: Email Phishing Scams
Did you read the original post? We're not talking about logging in, we're talking about importing 1099 from tastyworks. It asks for account number and SSN/taxID.
How to reproduce:
That is the issue and I can't find a way around it.
I did talk with tastytrade support. They are thinking with mine it still needs a full 72 business hours from when the 1099 was released to be available for import and we did have the bank holiday on Monday. Going to try again tomorrow.
I'm also wondering if somehow 2FA (two factor auth) is causing problems. It really shouldn't since turbotax isn't using a direct API call but I have had connection issues on other platforms.
Still no luck after giving it more than 72 hours. Same error as before.
Finally over the weekend I was able to import mine.
@nathan-wehrman is it possible the account is under a spouses ssn?
