How do I finish my 2018 taxes in Turbo Tax by Oct 15 2019 after I I thought I filed a 2018 income tax extension with TurboTax on April 14, 2019?

TurboTax tells me 'You filed your 2018 taxes'.
Should I file an amendment?

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return where you can complete and file the tax return

It would say Accepted if you efiled.  Double check your efile status here

If your final return was not efiled or Accepted then Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun. 

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
