Those would be added in as a separate asset, using the same inputs you used for the original building asset, with the description indicating commercial real prop. improvements.
I would have to assign a portion of the rental so that the depreciation has an income to offset. Best way was to state "Building Rebab" then use amortization. The only way to keep them together and still get the 39 years.
