1) Ask the employer if the payroll company that they use is a TurboTax partner.
2) After W-2's become available after Jan 31, 2021 and you have your W-2 in hand, just start the Income, W-2 sections int TurboTax and enter the employers EIN. If the W-2 is available then TurboTax will tell you. For security reasons most pay-roll companies that Make W-2's available require yiu to also enter some information from the actual W-2 to verify your identity and that you have the W-2.
It is too soon. W-2's for 2020 are not available yet. Employers have until February 1 to issue your 2020 W-2.
