If you owe Federal taxes due, then when filing in TurboTax you would indicate that you intend to pay the tax by "check", in order to proceed. That does not obligate you. You won't really be sending one. A payment voucher may print out with the return, but you don't have to use it, since you will be paying elsewhere.
Here is the payment page at the IRS site, where you have a couple of options.
At the IRS website, you can use IRS Direct Pay to make a free direct debit electronically out of your bank account. Or you can pay the taxes due with credit card or debit card. Be aware that the credit card service fees can be substantial if you have a large tax bill. If you want to pay by card, 3-4 payment processors and their fees are shown at the IRS website.
When paying, indicate the correct tax year you are paying, the "type" of payment (paying taxes for your Form 1040 return), and be sure to print out a confirmation page. Your bank statement will also be proof.
