How do we file jointly with one turbotax deluxe CD? The questions ONLY refer to ONE person and never asks with the process is jointly or separated.

You will have to tell the software that you want to file married filing jointly. Here is how to file jointly:

1. Open your return and click the Personal Info tab.
2. Click Edit next to Marital Status on the Personal Info Summary screen.
3. Continue to the Were You Married? screen and, answer YES to Do you want to file this return together with your spouse? Then continue and follow any onscreen instructions.
