How do I file if I dont know my spouses ssn , we have not been together since Nov. 2015 I am filing married filing seperately

You should file a paper return and write Unknown on the top right hand corner of the return in the Spouse’s social security number field.

You should then attach a short not explaining why the spouses SSN is unknown.
