How do I file completely free? I am being charged $15 to file my state taxes and federal is free. How can I get both free?

If you are using the US TurboTax Free edition, any state tax return is also free.  There are no federal or state e-file fess when using the TurboTax online editions.

Did you buy the Desktop program?  From where?  Some places have a $10 rebate.  In the Desktop program it is free to efile the federal return but state is $25 and minus the $10 rebate would be $15.  Don't have the $15 fee deducted from your refund or threre is an Extra $40 Pay with Refund service charge added on.  You can print and mail state for free from the Desktop program.
