How do I file a state tax extension I already filed?
I already mailed a check with my state tax extension (RI-4868) form. Where do I enter this on TurboTax?

How do I file a state tax extension I already filed?
You can follow the steps below to enter the payment already made on your extension -
- Log into your account and click Take Me to My Return (you must click this link or you will not get the correct jump to link below)
- Use the search function - icon at the top of screen that looks like a magnifying glass
- Search for "estimated tax payments"
- Click the link "jump to estimated tax payments"
- Scroll down until you see Payments with 2016 State Extension (see attached screenshot)
- Enter your state extension payment
