Washington does not have an income tax. You don't file a state return for them. Did you get a W2 from them for your federal return?
Does your w2 show the state you live in as taxes withheld or the state you briefly lived in? The program only knows what is on your w2. Some states have either a reciprocal or a reverse credit agreement. It may be that you don't need the second state. Which 2 states? Did you just live in the state for a while or did you actually register to vote, change license, car, etc with intention of living there?
My home state is Utah, and it is showing my state returns as such. The second state was Washington and shows a Washington address on the W-2, which is reflecting on the software too. I did get a Washington license and had temp tags but never a full registration there. I have since re-applied for my Utah license and have my car registered, voter registration, etc. here. I guess I'm just confused because where it shows the refund amount, it says Federal and Utah, but not Washington.

Oh! That makes me feel a lot better. Thank you!
