@debbz84 - there is no need to change anything to reflect no income. However, there still is a need to file to be sure you get the child tax credit and any stimulus money (recovery rebate credit) due to you. CHild support is not reported on a tax return; it is not taxable income.
if you don't work in 2022, then there is no need to file as the laws changed. there is no child tax credit or stimulus money under those circumstances in 2022.
...and...if you are attempting to file a "2021" tax return?
You cannot use the "Online" software anymore...that was shut down at the end of October.
The "Online" software can now only be used to prepare a "2022" tax return...to be filed in 2023
