How do I enter my employee's state id number when it's not on my w2?

W2 is for Washington state, form won't let me continue without this number.

 Eight states — AK, FL, NV, SD, TN, TX, WA, and WY — levy no state income tax.

Washington has not state income tax.  Is box 17 blank or 0?  Leave boxes 15, `16 & 17 BLANK, empty, no spaces.

Delete the ''WA'' out of Box 15.   It will give you a warning, but you can click Continue and move past the warning.   It won't prevent e-filing.   Washington State doesn't have an income tax so the rest of the boxes on that line should be blank.
