How do I enter a check from a settlement because a former employer, Madera Community Hospital, foreclosed? This was due to unpaid annual leave when I was laid off 1/6/23

I haven't received a tax form of this income. No 1099 or anything.

To enter a taxable settlement in TurboTax Online:

1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Wages & Income
3. Select Start, Pick up where you left off or Review/Edit, as appropriate
4. Scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Less Common Income
5. Select  Start or Revisit to the right of Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C (whether you actually received a form or not)
6. On the  Let's Work on Any Miscellaneous Income page, select Start to the right of Other reportable income
7. Select  Yes on the Any Other Taxable Income? Page
8. On the  Other Taxable Income screen, enter a description of the settlement, the amount, and select Continue
9. Select  Done on the Other Miscellaneous Income Summary screen
