How do I electronically file my 2019 amended federal tax return? I’ve followed the steps listed on here but at the end it just tells me to physically mail it in?

I don’t see an option to electronically file it?

efile is now only for 2020 unless you go to a professional to get your taxes done.

NOTHING can be e-filed at this time. The IRS closed e-filing at the end of October and will not re-open for e-filing until the end of January.

@candykid28 ALL amended returns must be filed by mail. So you'll need to print your return and be sure to sign it. I'd also recommend mailing ANYTHING to the IRS by certified mail or some method that requires a signature to be sure the IRS has received it.
