It depends. If you are using the desktop version, you can only e-file up to three state returns. The rest has to be paper-filed. However, the online edition allows you to e file up to five state returns per federal.

I’ve been trying to pay with refund and it continues to say I am ineligible. I meet all of the requirements, but it won’t allow me to do it. Suggestions?
