How do I download and fill out a 5405 and attach it to my tax forms?

To enter information for Form 5405, First-time Homebuyer Credit, in TurboTax Online:

• Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Online.
• Click My Account (top right of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
• In the search bar, type 5405.
• In the results box, highlight 5405, first-time homebuyer credit, then click GO.
• You'll land on the Tell Use About Your Homebuyer Credit screen. Follow the onscreen instructions to completion.

Note: If using the TurboTax CD/Download software, instead you should use the Find function to search for this topic.
