How do I delete form 8880 and make it stick? It says it deleted it but then it appears again, and is making me upgrade to Deluxe in order to do return--state is not free

It is costing me MORE to "upgrade" because now it's charging me $128 for 2 state returns

To permanently delete Form 8880 (Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions) and prevent TurboTax from forcing an upgrade, you must remove the triggering data from your federal return. If the software sees retirement contributions and a lower income, it will keep regenerating the form automatically.

Go to the Deductions & Credits section. Locate Retirement and Investments > Retirement Savings Contribution Credit (Form 8880).  Click Review or Update and explicitly answer "No" when asked if you want to see if you qualify for the credit, or clear out any interview questions that suggest you made a contribution.
